Herbert Poole is a man of great compassion with a heart and mission to see others experience the life-changing love of GOD that has so radically transformed his life.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he now resides in Houston, Texas with his wife of 32 years. He's a father to three grown children and grandfather to fourteen grandchildren. He has been a software developer for over 20 years. Herbert also writes poetry, sings and is learning to play acoustic guitar. He often shares his poetry online using the handle "Scribe of Judah" or @scribeofjudah.

his heart, his passion & the pursuit
God blessed minister Herbert with the passion for music at a very early age. From this inspiration birth the gift to start incorporating poetry into his music. Observing how devoted her son was to his craft, his mother sacrificed on so many occasions to pay for his entry fees to song writing contests. With his passion, it gives him the ability to communicate in a god given way to fortify, motivate and minister to others through the love and hope he has found from God so graciously pouring out into him. Even today, he is still discovering and refining what it looks like to communicate with others through speaking, writing and singing.
